Michael David Fels, Author and Playwright

Silver Hawk, the fearless alter-ego of a boy ordered to burn his father's books and Orin, a depressed Viet Nam vet who digs a hole in the West Texas desert and moves in are two of the many unique and fascinating characters you will meet in this collection of new, short fiction by Michael David Fels

Michael David Fels (Cazadero, California, United States)

I am a playwright and short-story writer. Since 2005, I've lived on a farm in western Sonoma County with my wife, my brother and my sister-in-law. For several years in the early 1970's, we lived close to where we live now. We also lived in Chinle, Navajo Nation; El Paso, Texas and, most recently, in Los Angeles. I studied playwriting with Simon Levy in the UCLA Extension Playwriting program. My work in international education afforded me opportunities for foreign travel.
